Atlanta Leather Pride 2024 Contest FAQ (pdf)
In late 2009 the owners of the ATL Eagle approached us about taking over the Atlanta Eagle contest and we said that we would do it on the caveat that we could build an entire weekend around it. Atlanta Leather Pride (ALP) was started in April 2010 to give all of us a chance to celebrate our Leather/Kink/Fetish lives and have a lot of fun in the process. The weekend is ever evolving and we thrive on making it a safe home for all who want it. ALP includes socials, demos, workshops, gear sale, and the ALP contest all housed at the Atlanta Eagle.
- Mr Atlanta Eagle (Male identified pronouns)
- Ms Atlanta Eagle (Female identified pronouns)
- MX Atlanta Eagle (Non-Binary or prefer not to identify within the binary)
- Atlanta Eagle Rubber (Rubber fetishest of all genders)
A full listing of winners’ responsibilities is located on the Contestant Application Details page of our website.
- Our goal for our title-holders first & foremost is to be an effective representation of the title locally and regionally. While we want your focus to be in Atlanta and the Southeast, if our titleholder decides to proceed further to either IML, IMsL, ABW, MIR or other applicable feeder contests then we will help them prepare for their contest.
- Our winners are given a monthly barnight (3rd Friday typically) to host an event of their choice. Winners can work with the ALP team on this planning and assistance as needed.
- Scoring and how it works:
- There are 8 judges who make up the panel of ALP judges.
- One member of the panel will be pre-determined as the “alternate” judge. This judge will participate in all scored portions of the contest. Their scores will NOT be factored into overall scoring unless another judge must step aside for whatever reason.
- Scoring totals will be done via Olympic Scoring - which means that for each contestant for each category their highest and lowest score will be dropped.
- In the event there is a tie score, the high/low score will be added back to the totals to determine the winner.
- In the event there is still a tie score once high/low score has been added back to the totals, then the alternate judge’s scores will be added in.
- Regardless of how many contestants, the winner must have received at least 70% of possible points
- 4 categories with a maximum of 200 points per category (800 points) X 5 judges = 4,000 possible points (2,800 points is 70% of possible)
- There are 8 judges who make up the panel of ALP judges.
- Category 1 - Interview - 200 possible points (per judge)
- Interviews are private and closed to the public and last no more than 15 minutes.
- Attire for this portion of the contest is up to the contestant’s choosing from casual bar wear to formal, whatever you feel will best represent you as a Leather/Rubber person.
- During the interview it will be the judges’ opportunity to get to know the contestants on a more personal level. No topics are off limits unless specifically outlined by the producers during the morning’s Contestant and Judges meeting.
- Judges are asked to consider:
- Appropriate attire to represent self
- Attire fits properly
- Confident and relaxed
- Appropriate boots or shoes
- Authentic/Genuine
- Personality Projection
- Comfortable Speaking in front of the judges
- Provided answers to questions asked

All play gear must adhere to local codes and regulations and nudity is not permitted. Jockstraps are permitted for this portion of the contest. During this portion of the contest we are changing it up this year and each contestant will participate in our mock game show the “Sash Game”. All contestants will be on stage together and will take turns engaging with our hosts and selected participants while trying to match the participants’ answers. The focus is NOT on getting the most matches but how creative and entertaining you can be during the game. Have some fun with this one!
